ResDiary alternative

A ResDiary alternative that also looks after the table.

ResDiary and Manjelier both charge a monthly fee and no commission. Manjelier puts the price on the page, has no tiers by number of bookings, and grows into an AI waiter at every table when you are ready.

Where Manjelier goes further is at the table: the AI waiter answers menu questions in the guest’s language and checks allergies before anything is ordered. It comes with bookings included on Manjelier Pro.

What you get with Manjelier Table

A booking system that is yours, for one flat fee.

£179 a month on its own, bookings included without a per-booking count. Or inside Manjelier Pro at £329 with the AI waiter on top.

A booking page in your branding

Your colours, your name, your link. Put it behind the Book button on your website, your Instagram bio and your Google profile.

Accept in one click, or automatically

Requests arrive by email and in the dashboard. Accept with one click, or switch on automatic confirmation. The guest gets an email either way, and a reminder the day before.

Floor map and day timeline

Your real room, drawn zone by zone. Drag a booking to another table or time on the timeline, from a desk or a tablet.

A waitlist that follows up

Fully booked nights fill back up: when a table frees, Manjelier emails the waiting guests whose party fits. How the waitlist works

Your guest list, exportable

Every guest who books lands in your client list, with their visits. Export it, or your reservations, to CSV whenever you like.

A pad for the door

A staff link for the tablet at the host stand: see who is booked, add walk-ins, seat tables, without your dashboard login.
How switching works

Four steps, and no big-bang weekend.

You can run both systems side by side for a few weeks. Nothing about the switch needs you to close or stop taking bookings.

  1. A 20-minute demo

We look at your room, your covers and how you take bookings today.
  2. We set up your floor

Your floor plan and tables, loaded for you. Setup is £99 once per venue.
  3. Point your links at the new page

Swap the Book button on your website and socials for your Manjelier booking page. New bookings come in from that moment.
  4. Let the old diary run out

There is no automatic import from other systems yet, so bookings already made there are served from there. Once they are done, you cancel.

Switching to a ResDiary alternative

Does ResDiary charge per cover?

No. ResDiary’s pricing page says it charges no commission on bookings, wherever they come from. Its plans share the same core features and differ by how many bookings they include. Manjelier is not cheaper because of cover fees; the differences are elsewhere.

So what is different about Manjelier?

Three things. Prices are published: £179 a month for Manjelier Table, with no tiers by number of bookings. The waitlist, floor map and staff pad all come in that one price. And when you want it, the same system puts an AI waiter on your tables, from £249 a month with bookings included.

What does ResDiary have that Manjelier does not?

Among other things, card deposits and payments, gift vouchers and text message reminders, none of which Manjelier offers today, and bookings through channels such as Reserve with Google and its Dish Cult diner site. If you depend on those, stay where you are for now.

Can I move my bookings over?

Not automatically yet. New bookings come through your Manjelier page from the day you switch your links, and the ones already made in ResDiary are served from there until they run out.

Is there a contract?

No minimum term with Manjelier. It runs month to month, and either side can stop at the end of the billing month.
