OpenTable alternative

An OpenTable alternative with one flat monthly fee.

If most of your bookings already come from your own website, your socials and your regulars, you may be paying for a marketplace you barely use. Manjelier Table is a booking system that is yours: your page, your guest list, from £179 a month.

£179 / month

The same on a quiet Tuesday in January and on the Saturday before Christmas.

  • No commission
  • No per-cover or per-booking fees
  • Month to month, no minimum term
  • £249 a month with the AI waiter for 10 tables; included in Pro and Business

A marketplace, or a system of your own.

OpenTable is a booking system and a diner network in one: its website and app send guests your way, and it charges a cover fee on those diners. Manjelier is only the system. That is cheaper to run when your guests already know where to find you, and a real loss if you rely on the network to fill tables.

What you get with Manjelier Table

A booking system that is yours, for one flat fee.

£179 a month on its own, bookings included without a per-booking count. Or inside Manjelier Pro at £329 with the AI waiter on top.

A booking page in your branding

Your colours, your name, your link. Put it behind the Book button on your website, your Instagram bio and your Google profile.

Accept in one click, or automatically

Requests arrive by email and in the dashboard. Accept with one click, or switch on automatic confirmation. The guest gets an email either way, and a reminder the day before.

Floor map and day timeline

Your real room, drawn zone by zone. Drag a booking to another table or time on the timeline, from a desk or a tablet.

A waitlist that follows up

Fully booked nights fill back up: when a table frees, Manjelier emails the waiting guests whose party fits. How the waitlist works

Your guest list, exportable

Every guest who books lands in your client list, with their visits. Export it, or your reservations, to CSV whenever you like.

A pad for the door

A staff link for the tablet at the host stand: see who is booked, add walk-ins, seat tables, without your dashboard login.
How switching works

Four steps, and no big-bang weekend.

You can run both systems side by side for a few weeks. Nothing about the switch needs you to close or stop taking bookings.

  1. A 20-minute demo

We look at your room, your covers and how you take bookings today.
  2. We set up your floor

Your floor plan and tables, loaded for you. Setup is £99 once per venue.
  3. Point your links at the new page

Swap the Book button on your website and socials for your Manjelier booking page. New bookings come in from that moment.
  4. Let the old diary run out

There is no automatic import from other systems yet, so bookings already made there are served from there. Once they are done, you cancel.

Switching to an OpenTable alternative

How does OpenTable charge restaurants in the UK?

According to OpenTable’s UK site, its plans have a monthly fee plus a cover fee for diners who find you through OpenTable’s own website, app or affiliate network. Bookings made through your own website are not charged per cover on its Core and Pro plans. UK plan prices are given on request.

Does Manjelier charge per cover?

No. Manjelier Table is £179 a month, whatever the number of bookings. No commission, no per-cover fees, month to month.

Will I lose the bookings OpenTable’s network brings me?

Possibly, yes. Manjelier has no diner marketplace or app, so guests who found you by browsing OpenTable will not see you there once you leave. It suits venues whose bookings mostly come from their own website, socials, Google and regulars.

Can I import my OpenTable bookings and guests?

Not automatically today. Most venues let the bookings already made on the old system run out while new ones come through Manjelier. We help you set up the floor plan and tables.

Who owns the guest data?

Your client list is yours and exports to CSV in a click. The Manjelier profile a guest carries between restaurants belongs to the guest.

Is there a contract?

No minimum term. It runs month to month, and either side can stop at the end of the billing month.
