What it does

Everything between the booking and the chair

A restaurant booking system takes reservations online, decides which times you can really offer, puts each booking on a table and keeps the guest informed until they sit down. Manjelier’s restaurant reservation system does all of that from one dashboard, built around the floor plan of your room rather than a generic grid.

It is sold on its own as Manjelier Table, and it is the same booking system inside Manjelier Pro and Manjelier Business, where an AI waiter looks after guests once they are seated.

Features

Table booking software that knows your room

Fifteen things it does on a normal Friday, all live today.

A booking page in your branding

Your logo, your colours, and a photo of the room behind the booking card if you want one. Guests choose party size, date and time in their browser. No app and no account.

Availability from your real tables

Smart mode offers a time only when a table that fits the party is free for the whole stay, plus the minutes you keep aside to clear and reset it. No more selling the same four-top twice.

A simple mode for bars and counters

If you seat by shift rather than by table, switch to Simple mode: each half hour takes guests until your arrivals limit fills. Switch back whenever you like; existing bookings keep their table.

One click to accept, or automatic

Each request lands in your inbox with Accept and Decline buttons. Or turn on automatic confirmation, and let the busiest half hours still come in as pending so you control the peak.

A day timeline you drag bookings across

One row per table, one bar per booking. Drag to another table or time and it snaps to the quarter hour. Drag the right edge to give a table longer. Works with a mouse or a finger on a tablet.

A floor map that is your floor

Draw your zones, tables, bar and counters to match the real room, then see who is booked where tonight. Tables on the map are unlimited on every plan.

Smart auto-assign

New bookings get a table the moment they come in, best fit first, reshuffling small parties so a big table stays free for the group that needs it. Every assignment can be changed by hand.

A waitlist that emails guests for you

When you are full, guests join the waitlist. A cancellation, a no-show or a moved booking frees a table and the guests whose party now fits get an email, oldest first, up to three at a time.

Confirmation and reminder emails

Guests get an email when their booking is accepted and a reminder the day before, in your venue’s colours, with your contact details and a link to manage the booking.

Guests cancel or change it themselves

Inside the cancellation window you set, from none to 72 hours, guests cancel or ask for a new time from the link in their email. A change is a request: you accept it or keep the original.

No duplicate bookings

A double tap, a slow connection or pressing back and sending again does not create a second booking. The guest is shown the one they already made, and you get one request, not two.

Opening hours, special days, last seating

Weekly hours, one-off closures and events, the latest bookable time and how far ahead guests can book. Parties above your online maximum are asked to call.

A staff link for the door

Give the host stand its own link. Named waiters sign in with a PIN to check the book, add a walk-in or mark a table seated, without your dashboard login.

Pre-shift overview and reports

Before service: covers by half hour, big parties, guest notes and pending requests. After it: occupancy, covers and no-show rate over time, and CSV export of your booking history.

A widget for your own website

Paste one line into your site and a “Reserve a table” button opens your booking page in place, or float it in the corner.
How it works

From the booking to the table, in five steps

  1. 1

    The guest books

From your website, Google profile or Instagram link. They pick a party size, a date and one of the times your tables can actually take.

  2. 2

You accept, or it confirms itself

Pending requests come to your inbox with one-click buttons. With automatic confirmation on, the guest is confirmed straight away.

  3. 3

    The table is assigned

Auto-assign puts the booking on the best-fitting free table. It shows on the timeline and the floor map, where you can move it.

  4. 4

    The day before, a reminder

The guest gets a reminder by email, with a link to cancel or ask for a change while your window is still open.

  5. 5

    On the night

The host marks the table seated from the staff link. A cancellation or no-show frees the table and the waitlist hears about it.

Pricing

A flat monthly price. Nothing per cover.

Three ways to get the same booking system. All prices exclude VAT, run month to month and have no commission on bookings.

Flat fee or per cover

How it compares with commission-based platforms

UK booking systems are priced in two main ways. Flat-fee tools charge a monthly subscription. Marketplace platforms usually add a fee for every diner who books through their own app or website, so the bill grows with your busiest months.

The arithmetic is simple: if a platform charges a fee per cover and 1,000 covers a month come through it, you pay that fee 1,000 times on top of the subscription. With Manjelier the price is £179 whether you seat 100 guests or 3,000. The honest trade-off is below.

Switching

Moving from OpenTable, ResDiary, SevenRooms, TheFork or a paper book

Whatever you use today, the move is the same few steps, and nothing forces you to switch off the old system on day one. There is no automatic import from other platforms yet, so we are upfront about the one manual part: the bookings you already hold.

  1. 1A 20-minute demoOn your own floor plan, so you see your room, not a sample.
  2. 2Setup with usWe load your tables, zones and opening hours with you. Setup is £99 once per venue.
  3. 3Add the bookings you holdFuture bookings from the old system go in with Add reservation.
  4. 4Swap the linkPoint your website, Google Business Profile and Instagram to your new booking page, or paste the widget.
  5. 5Run both for a whileLet the old diary empty out while new bookings land in Manjelier. Month to month, so there is no lock-in.
Beyond the booking

The same system can look after guests at the table

On Pro and Business the booking system comes with an AI waiter: a QR on each table opens a chat that knows your menu, asks about allergies first and answers in the guest's language. See how the AI waiter works.

Restaurant booking system: questions

What is a restaurant booking system?

Software that takes table reservations for you: a page where guests book online, a diary or timeline of who is coming when, table assignment, and the emails that confirm and remind. Better ones work out availability from your real tables so you never double book.

How much does the Manjelier booking system cost?

£179 a month on its own as Manjelier Table, or £249 a month together with the AI waiter for 10 tables. It is included in Manjelier Pro (£329/month) and Manjelier Business (£449/month). Prices exclude VAT.

Do you charge commission or a fee per cover?

No. There is no commission and no per-cover or per-booking fee on any plan. You pay the same monthly price however many guests book.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. The service runs month to month and you can cancel with effect from the end of the current billing month.

Is there a setup fee?

Yes, once: £99 per venue, covering up to 5 tablets. We load your floor plan and tables with you.

Can guests book without an app or an account?

Yes. They book in the browser from your booking page or the widget on your website. No download and no sign-up.

Does it send SMS reminders?

Not today. Guests get a confirmation email and a reminder email the day before.

Can I take deposits or card details to prevent no-shows?

Not today. Manjelier does not take payments or card details. What it does do is remind guests the day before, let them cancel online inside your window, and hand freed tables to the waitlist.

We are a bar with no fixed tables. Does it still work?

Yes. Simple mode ignores tables and fills each half hour up to the number of arrivals you set. The list view becomes your book.

Can I switch from OpenTable, ResDiary or another system?

Yes. We set up your floor plan and tables with you, you add the bookings you already hold, then you swap the booking link on your website, Google profile and social pages. There is no automatic import from other systems today, so many venues run both until the old diary empties.

Who owns the guest data?

You do. Under our venue terms you are the data controller and Manjelier is the processor. You can export your booking history and client list as CSV at any time.

Show us your floor plan. We will show you the booking system on it.

Twenty minutes on your own tables. £179 a month on its own, included in Pro and Business, and never a fee per cover.
