The AI waiter

An AI waiter for restaurants, at every table.

A QR code opens a chat that knows your menu, asks about allergies first, recommends dishes and answers in whatever language the guest types in. Your team gets the time back for hospitality.

What it does

From a QR code to a table that orders with confidence.

Everything here is live today on the AI plans. Where something is in beta or only on one plan, it says so.

Guests scan, guests chat

A QR code on the table opens a conversation in the browser. Nothing to download, no account to create, and it answers in the language the guest writes in.

Allergies come first

Before it recommends a single dish, the chat asks the table about allergies. A dish that carries an allergen someone declared cannot be ordered from the chat at all. How the allergy checks work

Drinks, then food, like a sommelier

It suggests something to drink first, then proposes dishes as cards the guest keeps or dismisses with a tap. No typing long sentences, no pinching at a PDF.

Guests confirm what they fancy

The guest ticks the dishes they want, so when your waiter arrives the table already knows. The waiter still takes the order: the chat never replaces that moment.

Regulars stop repeating themselves

A returning guest can carry a Manjelier profile with what they liked and what they avoid. A remembered allergy is asked again on the next visit, never assumed.

One QR per table, in your branding

Every table gets its own code, printed as a sticker in your colours, or as a poster from Pro up, so you always know which table asked what.
A table, start to finish

What happens after the scan.

  1. The guest scans and says hello

The chat asks for a first name and how many are at the table. Friends can join from their own phones with a code.
  2. Allergies, before anything else

The table is asked about allergies and dietary needs. What they say is kept for the whole visit, and a later “no” never erases an earlier allergy.
  3. Drinks, then dishes

Suggestions come as cards drawn from your menu. Guests ask follow-up questions in their own words.
  4. The table knows what it wants

Guests tick what they fancy. On every plan, your waiter sees those picks on the pad before reaching the table.
For your team

The same AI, on the other side of the pass.

Manjelier Business

Staff training chat

Your floor staff ask the same AI the questions a guest would. Does the risotto have nuts? What goes with the lamb? 25 questions a day per waiter, 150 across the venue.

Every Manjelier plan

The table’s order on the pad

Waiters on your staff link see what each table has already confirmed in the chat: dishes, drinks, allergies and who said them. Nothing the guest did not share, just put in front of whoever serves them. Nothing to switch on.

Manjelier Business

A morning summary

Written from the last seven days: what guests asked for that is not on the menu, which dishes are climbing, which allergies came up most. You read it in Reports, not dug out of a spreadsheet.

Start with the AI waiter.

Manjelier starts at £99 a month for 10 tables, £179 for 25 and £299 for 50, and every plan puts each table’s order and allergies on the waiter pad. Pro adds the booking system, and Business adds the staff training chat, Live Table Notes and a morning summary in Reports.

AI waiter for restaurants: questions

What is an AI waiter?

It is a chat your guests open by scanning a QR code at their table. It knows your menu, answers questions about dishes and allergens, suggests drinks and food, and lets guests mark what they want before your waiter comes over. Manjelier runs it in the browser, so there is no app to install.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan the QR code on the table and the chat opens in their phone’s browser. No app and no sign-up.

Does it replace my waiters?

No. It answers the menu questions that eat up service time and helps guests decide, so your team can spend that time on hospitality. Your waiter still takes the order at the table.

What languages does it speak?

It replies in the language the guest writes in, and guests can ask to switch language at any point. Multilingual chat is part of every AI plan: Manjelier, Pro and Business.

How does it handle allergies?

It asks the table about allergies before recommending anything, checks every dish against the 14 allergens declared for it, and will not let a guest order a dish that carries an allergen they declared. Your staff pad shows any clash in red. Your team stays responsible for confirming allergies with the guest.

Can it send orders to my POS or kitchen?

Not on the standard plans. On every Manjelier plan, the waiter pad shows what each table confirmed in the chat. POS and automatic ordering integrations are built on the custom Groups & hotels plan.

What does it cost?

Manjelier starts at £99 a month with 10 tables on a chat QR and 600 guest conversations a month. Pro is £329 and includes the booking system; Business is £449. No commission, no per-cover fees, and it runs month to month.
